🧵 Sew Club at The Play Factory

In our Sew Club, there’s space for every child to sew at their own level. Beginners are absolutely welcome — no experience needed! We start with the basics: learning how a sewing machine works and getting to know different sewing techniques. And most importantly: getting hands-on and creating!

​

Children with prior experience can choose their own projects and continue working on them each week in a cozy, encouraging environment, with professional guidance.

PRACTICAL INFO

WHO

For children from Year 4 and up (starting around age 9).
Are you an adult and interested in joining a sewing course yourself? You’re very welcome!
Groups are kept small (maximum 6 participants) to make sure everyone gets the personal guidance they need.

WHERE

The Play Factory, Stationsstraat 110, Aalter

WHEN

There are three different time slots each week for your child to join:

• Option 1: Thursday from 16:00 to 17:30

• Option 2: Friday from 15:30 to 17:00

• Option 3: Saturday from 11:00 to 12:30

Choose the moment that works best for you and your child.
If your child attends school in Aalter town centre, they can come straight to The Play Factory after school on Thursday or Friday with the after-school walking group.

PRICE

• Per term (10 weeks): €160

• Full school year: €440

• Early bird: €420 if you register before 30 June

The price includes use of a sewing machine and all essential sewing tools (fabric scissors, pins, measuring tape, etc.).
Not included: fabric, thread, and haberdashery. We always have a basic selection of materials available for purchase if needed.

Drinks and a small snack are also included each session.

You can sign up below. Once we receive your registration, you’ll get a confirmation email and payment details within two working days.
